Weir Laboratories is 100% compliant with the requirements of the National Agency for Sanitary Regulation, Control and Surveillance (Arcsa) and thanks to this it has received Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) certification.

The seal promotes competition in the pharmaceutical sector and promises to allow Wire to manufacture semi-solid, creams, ointments, ointments and pharmaceutical gels, as well as comply with the standards set by the World Health Organization.

Paul Weir, president of the company, explained that through this certification they demonstrate their innovation and quality policy in all manufacturing processes, “from a rigorous operation that builds trust in the community, greater competitiveness and better acceptance of our products in the market”.

Since its inception in Ecuador 40 years ago, Weir Laboratories has consistently invested in human talent training to ensure technological innovation, equipment renewal and ensuring the highest possible quality.

In addition to the 2,800-square-meter cosmetic plant in Guayaquil, a new 3,600-square-meter pharmaceutical plant was added to meet the needs of Ecuadorian consumers while maintaining affordable prices at the same time.

For Weir, the expansion of its industrial plant and the renewal of its teams in terms of quality, with the professionalism and dedication of its technicians and technicians, shows how they know how to do things well. “We are committed to overseeing and controlling all our production processes for the benefit of all Ecuadorians.”
