With its signature Executive Decree 412The functions of the Anti-Corruption Secretariat will include: designing an anti-corruption policy, designing an anti-corruption system in the public sector, and developing a national population and anti-corruption strategy.

By Executive Decree 413, a Luis Verdasotto As the person in charge of that secretariat. Verdesotto was a member of the National Electoral Council (CNE) and resigned to hold the position of Governing Adviser.
